What our customers say
We’re rated the best nail salon near Dalston by our customers
Dalston is a district in North East London and is in the London Borough of Hackney. It is 4 miles north-east of Charing Cross. Dalston began as a hamlet on either side of Dalston Lane. As the area urbanised, the term came to apply to surrounding areas including Kingsland and Shacklewell.Visit Ridley road market, serving since 1880, Rio cinema, Dalston roof park.
Dalston is the sister to Shoreditch when it comes to hipster areas and it’s nothing but edgy. All the new bars and cafes are open almost all week which attracts the young and fancy free who have a taste for partying.
It’s definitely a place to live and work. De Beavoir Town, the London Field area and Central Dalston are highly pursued after for residential living. Dalston is a busy place with a pic and mix old and new. You have the Methodist Church and Salvation army rubbing up against all the new.
Kingsland road really does reveal the flesh and organs of what Dalston actually has to offer. A small walk from the hipster magnet, The Haggerston pub, reveals a new comprehensive school, vintage fashion stores, cafes and cake shops and a fried chicken shop serving sour cocktails. North of Dalston Lane is Kingsland Shopping Centre with the usual high street chains including Sainsbury’s, Matalan, Peacocks and Iceland.
Dalston Overground was opened in 2010 and there have been plans to open Crossrail 2 to the area with the station opening near Kingsland Shopping Centre. With the incredible amount of change, the local council have responded to the local outcry by pledging to protect the much-loved Dalston Eastern Curve Garden, a community-led garden, café and event space in Dalston Lane, and also to guarantee the future of the established Ridley Road Market.
Our manicure tips, tricks, trends…
Forget the solid nudes and instead go for Nudes with Neon Details
You’ve got to believe us when we say this and it’s definitely a summer trend for shellac or gel nails (you can easily opt for dark colours for the winter period). The two options are either a nude or a caramel which is then paired with any kind of bright or a barely there, see through base with a shot of hot neon.
Geometric linear highlights of neon’s on your shellac nails base of see though or nude toned colours is definitely the renewed feel look. Now all you have to do is choose your pop of colour. Trieu Nails London favourites are definitely shades of hot pink, fiery orange and highlighter yellows. If you’re still unsure on the geometric shapes then just got for a few cute dots.
Trieu Nails London only hires the best of the best when it comes to nail artist and so we’re sure the nail art will only be the best! For nail art, we offer advice on what is best suited but we really encourage our customers to come in with pictures or to take inspiration from the @trieunailslondon Instagram.
