What our customers say
We’re rated the best nail salon near Haggerston by our customers
Sandwiched in between Dalston to the north and Hoxton to the south, Haggerston’s borders are open to interpretation. This tiny Hackney neighbourhood is at its best on a Saturday morning when the canal waters sparkle in the sunshine and the smells of breakfast fry-ups and wood-fired pizza fill the air.
Haggerston is an area of indistinct boundaries; it sits on both sides of Regent’s Canal, with the northern boundary being Middleton Road, and the southern Hackney Road. The area first began to transform with the arrival of Regents Canal in 1820 when the area became known for its furniture and textile factories and the canal banks were lined with docks.
Haggerston is sandwiched between the funky Shoreditch and the hipster Dalston. Rundown council estates are being torn down in this part of Hackney and replaced with new home offered with a mixture of tenures including rent and shared ownership.
The area has charming house boat along the canal which provides peaceful and safe walking and cycling routes as well independent shops and restaurants that still flourish. In addition, the Haggerson Riviera is a collective of independent restaurants, cafes, galleries and social enterprises in the surrounding streets and on the canal.
Traditionally a working-class area, it has quickly become an alternative to young professionals in the media and restaurant industries who can no longer afford Shoreditch.
Our manicure tips, tricks, trends…
We suggest skipping the classic French for skinny French.
French nails have and will always be fashionable but why not try a slimmer French line (with different colours other than the classical white is all the more better) which is less obvious but still striking.
We also suggest skipping Packed Glitter for Ombre Glitter.
Glitter manicures have definitely been on the increase but sometimes less is more when it comes to the bling bling. This is why we suggest an Ombre (a faded) glitter look where glitter is just on one part of the nails.
Trieu Nails London can offer simple nail art and French Manicures to the most abstract and eye catching. Our Senior technicians will take on the more complicated work but always love a challenge!
