What our customers say

By far the best manicure I’ve had in UK. From living in Moscow for the last year where they are renowned for some of the best beauty services in the world, coming back, I realised how bad so many UK nail salons are. But Trieu Nails did an incredible job of my cuticles and finish with so much care and attention to the health and protection of my nail. Only place I would recommend in London.

Katy Brown-Lee

I love my nails, I’ve done them today and I have only good words to say and praises for Kim, she was amazing, such a lovely lady, my nails look absolutely amazing, thank you! ❤

Codruta T.

Absolutely loved this salon! Not only did they fix a bad job done by another salon, the people were so great to talk to. Clean and super professional salon. My favourite in London!

We’re rated the best nail salon in Bethnal Green by our customers

A down-to-earth area in the East End, Bethnal Green is known as a home to young professionals and a large Bangladeshi community. Long-standing cafes and old-school pubs line Bethnal Green Road, while hip bars and eateries fill Paradise Row’s railway arches. Commonly families enjoy exploring the V&A Museum of Childhood’s toy exhibits. In Bethnal Green, Columbia Road has indie shops and, on Sundays, a popular, colourful flower market.

Bethnal Green had a total population of 27,849 at the 2011 census, based on the north and south wards of Bethnal Green. The largest single ethnic group is people of Bangladeshi descent, which constitute 38 percent of the area’s population. Every year since 1999 the Baishakhi Mela is celebrated in Weavers’ Fields, Bethnal Green which celebrates the Bengali New Year. The second largest is the White British, constituting 30 percent of the area’s population although this is on a growing trend as the area becomes gentrified and attracts young professionals. Other ethnic groups include Black Africans and Black Caribbeans.

According to the UK census of 2011, the population as a whole has fewer younger persons than the national average but also has a higher proportion of older people than the national average, thus making Bethnal Green an older persons’ location. Bethnal Green also has a lower level of residents born in the UK than the national average and a higher rate of residents either born in other European Union member states or outside the EU, and therefore has a significant immigrant population.

Bethnal Green is in the heart of the East End of London. It has long been a destination for people from across Tower Hamlets and beyond. Along with the communities of Poplar, Mile End and Bow it is known for its shared vibrancy and cultural activity, its history and people. Together they form a wider association of communities that make up the heart of London’s East End with a rich history.

Our manicure tips, tricks, trends…

Trieu Nails London was founded in Bethnal Green by the owner who had lived in the area most of her life and the brand owner who was born and raised in the area.

Whilst growth in the nail care and colour market has actually slowed since 2013, interest in Gel polish manicures (often dubbed shellac manicure which is just a popular brand of gel polish) continues to be popular. Recent research showed that 23 percent of females received a gel manicure at a salon within the last year. This was a 35% increase over 2013.

Trieu Nails is a trusted provider of gel polish (shellac manicures) and highly rated by customers. Partly this is due to our 5 day policy guarantee to fix any issues within 5 days of treatment if it was due to a fault of our technicians*. That’s just one small reason why our customers come to us for gel manicures and nail art all the time!

* Clients will need to be assessed as per our policy and repairs are provided only where the technician is at fault. We take no responsibility if customers have damaged their nails to due insufficient care.
